We Love Our New Groomer!
Word is out that grooming at the Nordic Center is better than ever. Thanks to the hard work by our groomer team, Sean and Dan! They make our corduroy dreams possible. We also want to extend our gratitude to the Nancy Driscoll Foundation, Ford Family Foundation, and the individual donors who contributed to the purchase of our new groomer. Here's to many great seasons ahead with our new machine!

Thank you to our New Groomer Fund contributors
The addition of the Pisten Bully 100 grooming machine is a huge achievement for the Nordic Center and will bring many days of stellar grooming for our guests. Along with the support of over 90 donors on North State Giving Tuesday, the Nordic Center also received significant support from two regional non-profit organizations.
Siskiyou Outdoor Recreation Alliance and Mt. Shasta Nordic Center would like to thank The Nancy Driscoll Foundation Fund of The Community Foundation of the North State and The Ford Family Foundation for the grant awards to support the purchase of the Pisten Bully. These two organizations combined contributed $50,000 to the New Groomer Fund in the fall of 2023 and early days of 2024. We’re so grateful for their support and the tremendous impacts their work have in our communities.
The new machine, driven by our dedicated grooming team, helps us ensure that consistent, high-quality grooming makes the skiing experience stellar for everyone. Mt. Shasta Nordic Center hosts school groups, senior outings, high school competitions, and community events. We’re super excited to take this step forward in the growth of the Nordic Center and we hope you enjoy the trails.
