Corduroy doesn’t come cheap. Fees alone fail to cover costs of operating the Nordic Center each season. Your donation helps ensure long-term viability of our programs & facility. Mt. Shasta Nordic is a program of Siskiyou Outdoor Recreation Alliance, a non-profit organization tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All charitable donations are deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

NORDIC CENTER FACILITIES UPGRADE FUND

The State Parks grant, local donors, outstanding partners and private foundations have made our achievements possible. More funding is needed to complete the project.

Project elements in need of funding: Funding to pay off the groomer quickly to save SORA the cost of $40,000 in Interest, Lodge furniture, cabinets and amenities, New skis, boots, poles and bindings for the rental center, Purchase of equipment for plowing the Nordic Center parking lot, Additional thinning of hazard trees along Nordic trails
